I was born and raised in the Diocese of Niagara, in the town of Oakville where my brother still lives.
I have been a priest for 30 years, ordained in Ottawa in 1981. I spent most of my time in the Diocese of Toronto. My doctorate is in adult education for faith and I taught at Trinity College for 12 years. In 1999-2000 I was an intern in the ministry of Spiritual Direction with the Jesuits in Guelph.
I have been a speaker with AWARE in the Diocese of Ontario and the Diocese of Toronto. I look forward to being with you in May.

Chaplain - Reverend Elizabeth Green | |
In January 2011 Rev. Elizabeth Green and her husband Kevin Doonan moved from Millbrook to Barrie Ontario, where Elizabeth is now serving as the Incumbent Priest for the Parish of St. Giles Anglican Church. Elizabeth and Kevin are very happy living in Barrie, and continue to enjoy much of what Barrie and its surrounding area has to offer. As part of her new ministry at St. Giles, Rev. Elizabeth is now developing the art, skills and practice of Biblical Storytelling after attending the first-ever Canadian Festival of Biblical Storytellers. Elizabeth was blessed with the opportunity to attend the International Festival of Biblical Storytellers which was held last August in North Carolina. Biblical Storytelling is a ministry that has taken root and begun to flourish for both Elizabeth and her new congregation at St. Giles. The art and ministry of Biblical Storytelling, as well as all other aspects and duties that come with parish ministry, continue to enrich and inspire Elizabeth as an ongoing pastoral care-giver in the Anglican priesthood. She looks forward to her first AWARE gathering, and to sharing her ministry with us as our chaplain this May.
